Navratri is nine nights of devotion to the nine forms of Goddess Durga. Shardiya Navratri 2026 runs from 11 to 20 October, beginning with Ghatasthapana and ending with Vijayadashami. Vandanam arranges a verified Vedic pandit to perform Ghatasthapana (Kalash Sthapana), the daily or concluding Durga Saptashati path, Havan and Kanya Pujan at your home, with all samagri included.

What is Navratri Puja?
Navratri Puja begins with Ghatasthapana — installing a kalash and sowing barley (jware) as the seat of the Goddess — on the first day, at the prescribed muhurat. Families then observe daily worship, recite or have a pandit recite Durga Saptashati (Chandi Path), and on the eighth or ninth day perform a Havan and Kanya Pujan (worship of young girls as forms of the Goddess). The festival closes with Vijayadashami.
Why families choose Vandanam for Navratri
- Correct Ghatasthapana muhurat. The pandit installs the kalash at the right time on 11 October 2026 and sets up the jware and akhand jyot properly.
- Durga Saptashati path by a pandit who recites it correctly — full path, or Navarna mantra with Argala and Keelak as your time allows.
- Ashtami / Navami Havan and Kanya Pujan organised end to end.
- Complete samagri — kalash, jau, red chunri, shringar, havan samagri and prasad items — carried by the pandit.
- Transparent, all-inclusive pricing shared before booking.

Frequently asked questions
When is Navratri in 2026 and when is Ghatasthapana?
Shardiya Navratri 2026 is from 11 to 20 October. Ghatasthapana is on 11 October 2026 at the prescribed morning muhurat.
Can I book only Ghatasthapana and the Havan, not all nine days?
Yes. Most families book Ghatasthapana on Day 1 and the Havan with Kanya Pujan on Ashtami or Navami. Full nine-day arrangements are also available.
Will the pandit recite the full Durga Saptashati?
Yes, subject to the time you book. A shorter option (Navarna mantra with Argala, Keelak and a few adhyays) is available if time is limited.
What does the family need to arrange?
A clean spot for the kalash, ideally in the north-east. The pandit brings the kalash, jau, chunri, shringar and havan samagri. For Kanya Pujan you arrange the food and gifts for the girls.
Do you serve my city?
Vandanam serves Delhi NCR (Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Greater Noida), Mumbai (with Navi Mumbai and Thane) and Pune.
